What a great day it was, numbers were tight due to green space which ended up advantageous to the Men.

56 people lined up to contest the Annual Wall/Cooper Shield. It was great to see everyone in their best Australiana wear.

With The Women winning last year, on handicap. The ladies entries out shown the Men, so the Men grabbed a few of the ladies to level the numbers. As a result no initial handicap was given.

As the announcer said, we know who he was, cough cough Skevo cough cough, the Men were dubious to a set up. The ladies looking for a starter. It wasn’t the case and the “borrowed ladies” help the Men win the day. Yeehaa.

Final result 5 rinks to 2 rinks, 120-118(plus 15 handicap to the ladies, 3 points per borrower person).
